Hello World: What I'm Building Here
A place to share what I'm learning about technology, mission, and the work of building in public.
I lead content and digital at a large performing arts nonprofit. Most of what I learn stays internal, not because it’s proprietary, but because we don’t pause to share it. This site is how I’m making space for that.
At conferences and in conversations with peers, I often want to point to something I’ve worked through: a decision, an experiment, a lesson from building something real. That thinking lives in internal documents or in my head. This blog gives it a public home, one I own and maintain myself.
I’ll be writing about technology, creative practice, and the work of leading mission-driven organizations. Data platforms, AI in practice, web development, the occasional deep dive into our performing arts archives. Some posts will be strategic, some will be hands-on, and the line between those is often blurry. There will be mistakes. Those are worth documenting too.
This is my commitment to learning in public. Working through real questions and sharing what comes out of it.
